Cookie Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage the C-Suite site at csuite.fun sets or reads, who sets it, what it is for, how long it lasts, and what kind of thing it is. It is the whole list. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies and no tracking pixels on the site.
1. Cookies we set
All four are first-party: set by csuite.fun or its API, readable by nobody else.
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
csuite_session | Our API, when you sign in with your wallet | Keeps you signed in. Holds a signed record of your wallet address and a session id; the signature is what makes it trustworthy. Page scripts cannot read it. | 24 hours after your last request (renewed while you use the site); cleared when you sign out | Strictly necessary |
csuite_theme | The site, when you pick light or dark | Remembers the theme you chose so the next page renders in it without a flash | One year | Preference |
csuite_dashboard_intro | The site, when you close the introduction | Remembers that you have seen the introduction, so it is not shown again | One year | Preference |
csuite_ref | The site, when you arrive through an invite link (?ref=…) | Remembers whose invite link brought you here — the value is that person's wallet address — so that if you mint later, after leaving and coming back, their referral still counts. The latest link wins. It is not an identifier of you: everyone who follows the same link carries the same value. | 30 days | Attribution — see section 3 |
csuite_session is set with HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and, on a secure connection, Secure. The other three are set by page script with SameSite=Lax.
2. Browser storage we do not set, but your wallet does
Connecting a wallet runs wallet software in your browser, and that software keeps its own state in your browser's local storage: which wallet you connected, which chain, and, if you connected through WalletConnect, the pairing and session keys WalletConnect needs to reach your wallet. This storage is created by the wallet libraries (wagmi, and WalletConnect's if you use it), not by us, and it is cleared by disconnecting your wallet or clearing site data. We read nothing from it beyond the connected address, which is what you connected it to give us.
If you open the optional cross-chain control on the mint page, Relay's widget may keep its own state the same way.
3. Consent, and the one cookie under review
csuite_session is needed to give you what you asked for (a signed-in session) and needs no consent. csuite_theme and csuite_dashboard_intro store a choice you made about how the site looks to you. csuite_ref is different: it is not needed to show you a page or to mint, it holds another person's wallet address, and it decides who is paid a referral if you mint. Whether it may be set without asking you first in the EU and the UK is a question we have put to counsel and have not had answered. [COUNSEL: Q5. Until answered, this page describes the cookie honestly and the notice below is what the site does.]
[REVIEW: no cookie notice exists on the site today, and what it does is the owner's decision once counsel answers Q5. If the answer is "consent needed", the paragraph that goes here is of this shape, in Product's words: "When you first arrive through an invite link, the site tells you that it is remembering the link for 30 days and lets you decline; if you decline, the referral is kept only for the pages you open in that visit and is forgotten when you leave. Declining changes nothing else about the site." If the answer is "exempt", this section says so and no notice is built. The orchestrator builds whichever it is.]
4. How to clear or block them
Every browser lets you see, delete and block cookies and site storage for a site; look for "cookies and site data" in your browser's settings. Deleting csuite_session signs you out; deleting csuite_ref forgets the invite link; deleting the other two resets your theme and shows the introduction again. Blocking all cookies for csuite.fun means you cannot stay signed in.
5. Changes
If we add or change a cookie or a storage item, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
